They work in cooperation with the Cl&iacute;nica Universidad de Navarra  (University Clinic of Navarra) and with the other faculties and centres on the  biomedical campus of the Universidad de Navarra and with IdISNA (Navarra  Medical Research Institute).<\/p>\n<p>Their research work is directed at finding new disease mechanisms and discovering potential therapeutic targets, identifying and validating new diagnostic biomarkers and developing therapies for those diseases that pose significant medical challenges.<\/p>\n<p>The CIMA is committed to cutting-edge biomedical research in a context of open innovation, establishing collaboration agreements with other universities, technology centres, companies and national and international foundations.
