The spa is set in the Malerreka Valley, just one kilometre from Doneztebe, in the shelter of the nearby hill of Mendaur and alongside the river Ezkurra. The properties of its waters have been known in the area since the mid-19th century.
The complex stands in a 55,000 square metre estate and it is to the north of this extensive terrain where the mineral water spring rises to the surface, a spring that is at the origin of the thermal tradition of Elgorriaga and this restoration project.
Three buildings with 25 guest rooms each, offer different accommodation options for bathers, including suites and rooms for small family groups. The utmost care has been taken to ensure accessibility at the facilities and there are also guest rooms for those with limited mobility.
Close to the three buildings used for accommodation, there is a room with a surface area of more than one thousand square metres. This is the spa area, together with the medical clinics, bar, terraces and restaurant, serving meals to suit the diet of all types of users, subject to any limitations or conditioning factors that may arise. The four buildings forming part of the complex are inter-connected.
